Hello Happiness Creativity Center is a non profit space with a mission to give everyone access to affordable creative tools and experiences. We believe that developing and encouraging creativity is vital to a successful community and we offer opportunities for everyone to join our mission and become a Magic Maker.

As a 501c3 we rely on the community

We take any useable art and craft supplies and turn them into smiles! If you can buy it at a big box art or craft store we will take it. There is no need to contact us if they items are in the accepted list below, but if you have any questions about things not listed email us at hellohappinesscc@gmail.com.

 

Donations are accepted during open hours of Tuesday through Friday 10-5 or Saturday 10-3. Come on in the back door and let us know if you need help or bring donations in and drop in the studio. Every donation gets you one of our popular Hello Happiness vinyl stickers and a receipt is available for anyone who needs one.

No goods or services will be provided in exchange for your donation. Hello Happiness Creativity Center is a registered 501c3 non- profit organization EIN 84-4829562. Your donation is tax deductible to the extent allowable by law.

We DO NOT accept:

​

Clothing, home decor, kitchenware, electronics, holiday decor, sport equipment, or anything that is not specifically art or craft related. 

​

Books and magazines that are not craft related (the only exception is if they are from 1970 or older and we can use them for the ephemera.) 

​

Recyclables like food containers, pill bottles, or anything that was previously used as packaging. (we know we know it can be used but we cannot take everything.)

​

 Dried up paint, markers or anything else that is not useable. Help us decrease disposal costs! 

 

No CHRISTMAS decor or ornaments! â€‹

Apparel Crafts/Sewing

thread, buttons, rick rack, notions, fabric, elastic, working sewing machines(not in a stand), needles, blank clothing, quilting accessories, ribbon, seam binding, patterns, sequins, bedazzles, fabric dye, screen printing tools and materials, fabric paint, felt, patches, iron-ons, sewing books, buckles.

Art Supplies (please make sure donated items are useable) 

paint (acrylic, oil, watercolor, gauche, tempera, spray paint) NO HOUSE PAINT PLEASE, pencils, pens, calligraphy supplies, ink, markers, alcohol ink, varnish, brushes, cleaning solutions, chalks, pastels, charcoal, blending stumps, scissors, Exacto knives, erasers, glues, tape, colored pencils, Art books, scratchboard, wood panels.

Baking & Party 

cookie cutters, silicone molds, candy molds, frosting tips, invitations, party decor, wrapping paper, cello bags, packaging for food or gifts, curling ribbon.

Beads & Jewelry

beads (glass, semi precious, plastic, wood, ceramic and more) findings, wire, string, beading needles, any jewelry tools, resin supplies, friendly plastic, metal stamping tools, metal smithing tools, glass bezels, leather, necklaces, bracelets, rings, charms.

Craft Machines

Any craft machine that works is accepted.

 

Crafts & Hobbies

Candle-making, stained glass, mosaics, soap making, pipe cleaners, pom poms, miniatures, doll making, stencils, basket weaving, supplies and materials, enamel supplies and tools, leather tooling tools and supplies, soldering iron and supplies, stained glass supplies and tools, glue guns, glue sticks, google eyes, gems, sequins. 

​

Floral

artificial florals, baskets, floral tape, millenary, floral wire, oasis and foam. 

​

Frames/Canvases

Complete, useable frames of all supplies and materials. Unused canvases of all sizes. We will also accept used canvases or art that is on canvas to recycle. 

​

Holidays & Occasions

Holiday craft items ONLY please! No finished holiday decor please.

Plain ornaments, fabrics, paper crafts.

Kids

Perler beads, foam crafts, activity books,

Kids art and craft kits with all the parts, construction paper.

 

Papercraft

scrapbook paper of all sizes, die cuts, stickers, cards, envelopes, dies, embossing folders, cutting supplies, rubber stamps, ink pads, glitter, embossing powder, flocking, ink, clear cling stamps, acrylic stamp blocks, poster board, card stock, paper making supplies and tools, wax seal tools and supplies.

Printing

Screen printing tools and supplies, Gel printing plate, print ink, lithography tools and supplies, sun print, cyanotype prints, block printing, lino cut tools, brayers.

Sculpture

Yarn & Needlework

 All kinds of yarn in any amount. We will take full skeins and small balls. Any tools, supplies or accessories for knitting, crochet, lace making, crewel, plastic canvas, embroidery, tatting, weaving, macrame… threads, floss, needles, embroidery hoops.

​

Vintage

1990 or older interesting paper (stamps, maps, postcards, greeting cards, labels, newspapers, magazines, books, letters, games pieces, flash cards, playing cards etc…)
